You can also add soup if you want but we did not do that. You start out with a base price for the small or large salad, and then there is an additional charge if you want to add a meat or what they would call a premium meat (like shrimp instead of chicken). That could be good and bad in that they control the amount of that ingredient on the salad but maybe good in that you don't overload it. It did remind me a bit of a Subway in that you tell the people behind the bar what you want and they add it to the salad. I've never seen so many different choices for ingredients for a salad. got the larger one but unless you are very hungry, the smaller size is fine. They offer two sizes of salads, both served in stainless steel bowls. Never been to a salad bar like this before but it was very good.
